What materials are your jewelry made from?
Our collections feature a variety of materials, including stainless steel, gold-plated, gold-filled, and other carefully selected metals. Material details are listed on each product page whenever possible.

Will my jewelry tarnish?
Like most jewelry, your pieces may naturally show signs of wear over time.  How they wear depends on the material and how they're cared for.  To keep your jewelry looking its best, avoid prolonged exposure to water, lotions, perfumes, sweat, and harsh chemicals, and check each product description for specific materials.

How do I care for my jewelry?
Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to water, lotions, perfumes, and harsh chemicals. A soft jewelry cloth can be used to gently clean your pieces after wear.

ORDERS + SHIPPING

When will my order ship?
Orders are typically processed within 3 to 7 business days.

As a small business, SOL 21 generally ships one day each week. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of jewelry and for hygiene reasons, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please get in touch with us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.

Do you offer local pickup?
Not at this time. Orders placed online are currently available for shipping only.

PERMANENT JEWELRY

What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is custom-fit jewelry that is welded closed instead of secured with a traditional clasp. Your piece is fitted to you and designed to stay on until you choose to remove it.

Does it hurt?
Not at all. The welding process creates a tiny spark that closes the jump ring connecting your jewelry. The welding tool never touches your skin.

What materials do you offer?
SOL 21 currently offers gold-filled, sterling silver, and select enamel chains for permanent jewelry.

Can permanent jewelry be removed?
Yes. Although it's called permanent jewelry, it can be removed whenever you're ready. Simply cut the jump ring with scissors or small jewelry cutters and save your chain if you'd like the option of having it reattached later.

How old do I have to be?
Permanent jewelry is available for guests ages 13 and older. Guests under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

What if I have a metal allergy or sensitivity?
Please let me know about any known metal allergies or sensitivities before your appointment so we can discuss your options. If you're unsure whether a material is appropriate for you, consult your healthcare provider before getting permanent jewelry.

Can I book SOL 21 for a private party?
Yes! SOL 21 offers mobile permanent jewelry experiences for birthdays, girls' nights, celebrations, and other private gatherings. Visit the Permanent Jewelry page to learn more or submit a party inquiry.
